His communication was excellent…letting us know 20 minutes before his arrival so that we were fully prepared. He talked us through several aspects of our wood burner, checking we were using the right logs and giving advice where needed. He was friendly, professional, and thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He even shared some helpful cleaning tips, which was a lovely extra. I thought i would give Paul's East Coast Chimney Sweep a go.Well what can i say WOW. How refreshing,  i learned things and was shown things and explained the whole process,  all the while Paul was working away carrying out all the relevant safety checks first  and then the cleaning itself. He was very thorough, meticulous and didnt mind answering my questions no matter how stupid they may have been. I certainly never had that with the previous sweeps . The attention to detail not just with my flue but the door and seals,  the stones on the inside , how and what  i should be doing  to get the best  out of my burner, He was so respectful of my home he laid full protective  coverings down right through to where the flue and burner was situated. There was no dirt and zero soot left behind which was extraordinary given the processes and equipment involved i was amazed. He even gave me the bag from the flue cleaning to feel the weight of everything he had removed from it.  Eeugh Grim but i certainly feel safe now. Definitely 100% Definitely my new Chimney Sweep Definitely will recommend to everyone with a burner,open fire, and every other type that needs some TLC.
